The Harold Pinter Theatre, formerly the Comedy Theatre until 2011, can be found on Patron Street in London’s West End. It was built in 1881 and was renovated in the mid-1950s, but has kept much of its original Victorian architecture.
There are 783 seats and is relatively modest in size compared to other West End theatres. The theatre is split over four levels; the Stalls, the Dress Circle, the Upper Circle and the Balcony. It is best to contact the theatre directly if you have any mobility or sight issues.

Seating
The Stalls – There is no middle aisle in this section so you can pick up seats with a fully central view, but they can be the most expensive option. Pillars feature on the lowest three levels of the theatre which means there are restricted seats at the back of the Stalls, often at a discount. The first three rows are a little lower than others and are best avoided by children because of the high stage.
The Dress Circle – This level curves with the balcony so the majority of seats offer a side on view of the stage. Again, this section has two pillars which affect the view of people sat directly behind them.
The Upper Circle – There are seats at the front of this section with a restricted view because of the bar running along the front, and again there are supporting pillars. The best seats can be found in the centre of the section.
The Balcony – The Balcony is the highest level and can feel quite steep. There are restricted seats behind the two supporting pillars and at the ends of each row; once again the best view is in the centre.
Top tips – Due to the number of restricted seats there are often views with a discount which can offer good value for money!
